BRIGG SHOP HAS BUSY LAST DAY BEFORE CLOSING

It proved to be a busy last day for a Brigg town centre shop which closed its doors for the final time on  Saturday.
We walked past along Wrawby Street half-a-dozen times and on each occasion the Cookshop was filled with people viewing items on offer in the closing down sale.
These premises - in a different guise - once housed Instone's, the renowned grocery emporium.
Yesterday was farmers' market Saturday and that drew a big attendance - helped by the fine weather.
A good number of visitors have still failed to grasp the fact that car parking is free on Saturdays.
Would a temporary banner or two advising drivers about this welcome concession by North Lincolnshire Council be in order?
These could be located near the entrances.
