BRIGG COUNCIL TO DISCUSS WAR MEMORIAL RENOVATION, ANGEL SUITE REFURB & OTHER TOPICS OF INTEREST

There's much of interest to be debated by Brigg Town Council at its monthly meeting tomorrow tonight, including refurbishment of the Monument war memorial and the Angel Suite - one of the town's main function and event venues.
Other issues to be considered include the public toilets on Cary Lane and Christmas lights in the town centre.
The Town Council meeting in the Angel Suite on Monday, June 26 starts at 7.15pm.
Local people are welcome to attend and can raise issues they feel to be important during Public Question Time, which is listed on the agenda.
Brigg Blog will be attending the meeting and posting reports of the discussions and decisions reached.
One topic to note will be determining whether additional names should be added to the Monument's list remembering local people who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.
Brigg resident Ken Harrison  asked the council to consider a review and suggested a local nurse killed during World War One should be honoured on one of the inscribed plaques.
