BRIGG SUMMER CIDER FESTIVAL TO ENJOY WITH ALES ALSO ON OFFER

Brigg Blog recently highlighted the fact that A-boards are no longer in place on Wrawby Street to inform passers by what's on offer and coming up at the White Horse pub/restaurant in the town centre, operated by J D Wetherspoon.
A regular at Spoons - as younger folk call it - has now informed us that a cider festival is coming up at the venue.
Isn't that just the sort of thing deserving a plug on a board outside the entrance?
He's really looking forward to it and says some top ciders will be on offer.
We had to resort to a smart phone visit to JD's national website, which revealed the festival will run at its various outlets for 17 days from July 7 to 23.
For the benefit of folk living outside Brigg who are considering making a debut trip to Wetherspoon''s for the festival, the pub has also has a good range of real ales at reasonable prices.
Those coming on the Saturday train service from Sheffield, North Notts or Grimsby just need to keep walking straight ahead once they leave the station to get to the pub.

What's the difference between a festival and a sales promotion?
