DAY AT THE RACES FOR BRIGG AREA SPORTS FANS

FROM MARKET RASEN RACECOURSE

Win, lose or draw against Arsenal in the FA Cup on Saturday, Lincoln City supporters can take advantage of a special cut-price admission offer for them at Market Rasen Racecourse on Sunday.
Anyone entering the Tattersalls Enclosure sporting a Lincoln City shirt will enjoy half-price admission - £8 instead of the on-the-day price of £16.
Nadia Powell, General Manager, Market Rasen Racecourse, said: “Watching the team’s progress through the FA Cup this season has been a huge thrill. It’s a tough ask against the Premier League stars of Arsenal, but they could just do it against a team smarting from their Champions League exit! However, whether Lincoln City’s supporters are celebrating an historic triumph at The Emirates Stadium or thinking about what might have been, they are all very welcome to have an affordable and exciting day out at the races on Sunday.”
It’s the second ‘Super Sunday’ fixture of 2017. All three enclosures at the racecourse – County, Tattersalls and Lawn – will be open, offering visitors a choice of where to watch the races and enjoy refreshments.
At the four Super Sunday fixtures, as well as at 12 of the other 18 fixtures this year, children under 12 years receive a free two-course meal in the Brocklesby Suite restaurant with adult reservations booked in advance.
More information is available – and tickets can be purchased - at www.marketrasenraces.co.uk
Young adults, aged 18 to 24 years, can get half-price admission by registering at RacePass18to24.co.uk to receive a free RacePass membership card. Senior citizens can obtain discounted admission by joining The Diamond Club, with details available online.
The first race is at 2pm on Sunday, with gates open from 12 noon.
