BRIGG PUB COMPLETES REFURB

Refurbishment has now been completed at a Brigg pub.
Some weeks ago, Brigg Blog made reference to work getting under way on a new covered area in the beer garden behind the Britannia Inn.

This has now been completed and the final touches include a row of plants well above ground level and a selection of interesting old pictures showing Brigg as it used to be (see picture immediately above).
These archive images are well worth a look while enjoying your pint at this Marston's hostelry.
Tom Wood's "Brewery Tap" Yarborough Hunt, on Bridge Street, has recently added some shelters (cabanas) to its beer garden, where small groups can gather for a quiet chat.
With spring not too far away, and hopefully many hot summer days to follow, the refurbished beer gardens at the Brit and the Yarborough will enjoy plenty of use, together with those offered at other hostelries like the White Hart, Nelthorpe Arms, White Horse (Wetherspoon's), Lord Nelson, Woolpack and Gladiator.
