Full details have been supplied to Brigg Blog by Wetherspoon's about the reopening of its White Horse pub on Wrawby Street for beer garden 'table service' when the Government lockdown restriction is lifted from Monday, April 12.
We asked the major national hospitality company to outline what's going to be on offer (with times), and its national spokesman has kindly included details of the firm's other local outlet, the Blue Bell, on Oswald Road, Scunthorpe, should Brigg folk find themselves in the steel town and in need of refreshment.
Brigg Blog suggests that the White Horse will be the first hostelry in our town to serve a post-lockdown pint. Its popular breakfasts will also be returning, together with other meals during the day (to be eaten outdoors).

Two pubs in the area are to open their beer gardens from Monday April 12.
The pubs are The White Horse in Wrawby Street, Brigg, and The Blue Bell Inn in Oswald Road, Scunthorpe.
The Wetherspoon pubs will be open from 9am to 9pm (Sunday to Thursday inclusive) and 9am to 10pm (Friday and Saturday).
They will offer a slightly reduced menu, to include breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals, fish and chips and British classics. Food will be available from 9am to 8pm, seven days a week.
Customers will be able to order and pay through the Wetherspoon app; however, staff will be able to take orders and payment at the table from those who don’t have the app.
The pubs will not be operating a booking system.
Customers will be able to enter the pubs to gain access to the outside area and also to use the toilet.
Test and trace will be in operation and hand sanitisers will be available.
Emma Hooton, pub manager at The White Horse, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and staff back after a long time away.”
