BRIGG PUBS ON THE BALL FOR GUINNESS RUGBY SIX NATIONS TOURNAMENT 2020

Widely regarded as a sports bar, the Black Bull, in Brigg town centre, got on the ball on Friday (January 31) as these pictures show.
Temporary signs went up on the front of the Wrawby Street premises to publicise the Guinness Six Nations rugby union tournament - TV coverage being on offer at the Bull.
Other Brigg hostelries, including the Dying Gladiator, on Bigby Street, are also screening matches live - the tournament having started over the weekend.
If you fancy watching forthcoming games while downing a pint or two of Guinness or other tipple, give one of the participating Brigg bars a TRY!
Saturday (February 8) sees Ireland v Wales (2.15pm), Ireland v Wales (2.15pm) and Scotland v England (4.45pm).
As far as we know, Brigg has never had a rugby union club. However, many local people follow this sport and a number have represented North Lincolnshire clubs like Scunthorpe and Barton. The sport has also been played in Brigg at secondary school level in recent years.
