Those who watched and listened to a Brigg pub's live music gig at the weekend enjoyed an impressive performance.
The Under the Covers duo, as their name suggests, performed hit songs made famous by a variety of top bands down the decades when they appeared at the Woolpack on Saturday night (February 8).
The play list included an energetic version of the late 1980s Guns N' Roses classic Sweet Child O' Mine, complete with a Slash-style guitar solo!
Week after week the Woolpack, in the Market Place, continues to offer live music of various kinds - from solo singers to bands.
RedBooT have been booked to appear this Saturday (February 15) from 9pm.
Admission is free - all welcome.
Singer Kelly will be performing hits from the 1960s through to the present day when she appears at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club on Saturday (February 15) from 8.30pm. Free admission - everyone is welcome, says the Coney Court venue.
There will be a pool flyer at the club on Sunday afternoon, from 1pm. Entry fee £10 - pay at the bar.
There will be a Valentine's Day disco/karaoke at the Lord Nelson Hotel, Brigg Market Place, on Friday, February 14, from 8pm.
Under the Covers performing at Brigg's Woolpack. Pix taken on our camera phone rather than the usual 'digital' which offers better quality. Our second excuse - the energetic duo wouldn't keep still! |
