DISTINCTIVE BRIGG TOWN CENTRE BUILDING BACK IN BUSINESS
One of the most distinctive buildings in Brigg town centre is back in business use after being vacant for many months.
The distinctive former NatWest bank building in the Market Place is playing host to Victor Finance, opening Monday to Friday.
Conversion work inside the premises had been ongoing for some weeks.
Victor Finance says it has been supporting businesses since the 1980s.
NatWest closed its Brigg Branch in June 2018 due to an increasing number of people using internet banking and no longer relying on traditional over-the-counter services. We think a bank had been operating at this location since the 1930s.
With HSBC also have closed, Brigg then became a two bank town - Barclays and Lloyds.
Following NatWest pulling out and covering up its much-used Market Place cashpoint, the building was placed on the property market through a London agency.
Brigg Blog took these pictures on Friday evening (February 7) once signage had been installed.
