BIGGEST BRIGG SCHOOL REUNION OF 2020 COMING UP

Tickets are now on sale for the biggest Brigg school reunion event of 2020.
School friends will be reunited at a showpiece dinner on Saturday, March 14 in the Elsham Golf Club restaurant (meet 7pm for 7.30pm).
Organised by the Briggensians Association, this event is for former pupils and staff of Sir John Nelthorpe School, Brigg Grammar School and Brigg Girls' High School. The Nelthorpe comprehensive was created in 1976.
Dinner tickets cost £25, and the guest speaker will be Old Briggensian David Horsley.
He left Brigg Grammar in 1969 following A-levels, going on to study zoology at the University of London. He then became a biology teacher.
Now retired, David's interests include photography and he has travelled widely, including South America, Greenland, the Caribbean, the Galapagos, Australia and Madagascar. He features in our picture montage above with some of the guests at a previous annual dinner.
Cheques for dinner tickets should be sent to The Briggensians Association Dinner Secretary, c/o Rachael Harvey, Sir John Nelthorpe School, Wrawby Road, Brigg, DN20 8DS, and the closing date for applications is March 1.
The dinner in March will be the 43rd staged by the Briggensians - making it the longest-running reunion event for Brigg school 'old girls' and 'old boys'.
