Some 122 shoppers voted to decide the best festive window display, with 86 votes being cast in the past winners' section.
Brigg Blog and Ken Harrison, of the Brigg Matters newsletter, were kept busy with our cameras during the presentation ceremony at AF Carpets, on Bridge Street on Saturday afternoon.
Brigg Town Business Partnership has thanked AF Carpets and Brown & Co for their sponsorship, which was greatly appreciated. And also Chris Darlington, who put a great deal of hard work into co-ordinating the competition.
We accompanied Chris and Business Partnership chairman Malcolm Bailey when they took VIP guest Baroness Redfern to view some of the top windows, as voted by you, the public. First stop was winner Mason Baggott & Garton (see picture below).
Lady Redfern went on to present cups and certificates, including the one above to Mason Baggott & Garton, represented by partner Emma Jane Johns.
Brigg Town Business Partnership said later: "We had more businesses than ever take part and we were able to distribute over 2,000 leaflets to all of the primary schools in Kirton, Hibaldstow, Scawby, Broughton, Wrawby and Brigg this year. We doubled the number of leaflets that were returned to us for counting, too."
