COUNCIL LEADER TO STEP DOWN - CURRENT DEPUTY IS FROM BRIGG

At the next Full North Lincolnshire Council meeting on Thursday 15 December, Coun Baroness Liz Redfern will announce her intention to step down from her role as Leader of North Lincolnshire Council. This will take effect from 15 January 2017.
Cllr Liz Redfern will continue as a ward councillor for Axholme Central.
At the Full Council meeting a new Leader of North Lincolnshire Council will be chosen. They will take up the role on 16 January 2017.
Baroness Liz Redfern said: “It has been a great honour and privilege to have led North Lincolnshire Council supported by colleagues and members of staff. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their contribution and commitment to making North Lincolnshire a great place to live and work.”
