BRIGG TO GET UNUSUAL VISITOR TODAY

The Network Rail "Flying Banana" is due on the Brigg line this Thursday (today - December 15). It should be here at 6.32pm.

A popular location of customers travelling on the train to Brigg is the North Nottinghamshire town of Worksop.
Another batch of Visiting Brigg guides have been dropped off and displayed in the ticket office.
They are getting through around 50 every few weeks!

Bananas!
Talking about bananas, Nige, botanically they are fruit, berry and a herb.
In the meantime a strawberry, raspberry ....are not berries...and a blackcurrant is not a currant, and like an orange, is a berry...

.....a cucumber, a tomato and a grape are botanically berries....by definition, fleshy fruit with muliple seeds on the inside...so an apricot ain't a berry, but the red berries on ivy are berries (but that depends on whether thd ivy is a male, or female plant)....
