COUNCIL RULES ON BRIGG PUB/RESTAURANT APPLICATION

North Lincolnshire Council has now ruled on an application to retain equipment installed at a Brigg town centre pub which is within the conservation area.
The request was made for Dexter's at 3 Wrawby Street - formerly the Black Bull.
And the council has granted planning permission to retain a kitchen extraction system.
No objections were received about the application.
A council report concluded: "The proposed development is necessary to support an existing local business and to protect the amenity of neighbouring properties.
"Furthermore, the flue is considered to have no unacceptable impact on the character or appearance of the conservation area. Therefore, the proposed development is acceptable and this application should be supported."
The successful applicant was Enterprise Inns.
