There's a new 'spirit of Christmas' event taking place in Brigg today (Wednesday, December 28).
Dozens of people accepted an invitation to book places at the free Community Celebration, with refreshments, to be held in the Angel Suite from 3pm to 8pm.It is being organised by the Brigg Angels Women's Institute and has been helped by a grant from the Town Council.
A warm welcome was extended to elderly, isolated or lonely people from Brigg.
