BRIGG FOLK CAN ENJOY BONFIRE & FIREWORK DISPLAY AFTER ALL

It's sad that the once very well-attended communal Bonfire Night celebrations and firework display in Brigg each November finished some years ago and has never been re-launched.
However, townsfolk don't have to travel far if they want to see an event this year.
The Jolly Miller pub & restaurant in Wrawby will be putting on a display on Sunday (8th November).
The event starts at 6pm; bonfire lit at 6.30pm; fireworks from 7pm.
Entry costs £2 for adults and £1 for children. Hot food and drinks will be available.
Car parking has been arranged nearby at Vicarage Motors, opposite the village church.
From there it's just a short walk back along the A18 to the Jolly Miller, which occupies a large site.
Alternatively, if you want a few pints, leave the car at home and enjoy the walk from Brigg (weather permitting).
Brigg's communal bonfire and firework displays first began in the 1970s at the Recreation Ground  and continued for many years.
