Brigg Town Business Partnership has announced details of its Festive
Exteriors and Interiors Window Competition 2014 and is working with the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
This
is the third year of this highly successful competition which is open to the members of Brigg Town Business Partnership and also non-members. This is
the final event of the partnership's calendar for 2014.
The aim is to celebrate the many and varied independent businesses in Brigg which all
pull out the stops at Christmas by decorating the exteriors and interiors of their premises.
The partnership says it is lovely to enjoy the festive season as well as raise money for charity.
This
competition will be advertised weekly in the Scunthorpe Telegraph from today (6th November).
All
windows and interiors must be decorated by 28th November.
Photographs will be displayed by the Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph,
Brigg Blog and Brigg Town Business Partnership’s website.
Readers
will vote on the best dressed windows/interiors by ringing Rob Dillon on 01724
273175 or emailing him on rob.dillon@gsmg.co.uk
Shortlisting will be carried out by the Scunthorpe Telegraph, whose decision shall be final.
Andrew Percy MP will award prizes to the winners on Saturday, 20th
December.
All
proceeds will be divided between Brigg Town Business Partnership and its nominated charity of the year, Brigg Food Bank.
Malcolm
Bailey, Chair of Brigg Town Business Partnership, would like to thank the
Scunthorpe Telegraph and its readers and particularly Rob Dillon for
agreeing to work with the partnership on this event, plus Andrew Percy for
agreeing to take part in the prize-giving ceremony.
Malcolm
Bailey has also thanked the staff of Brigg
Tourist Information Centre for all their help with our events in 2014.
