Jump racing is back at Market Rasen Racecourse
this weekend, which will interest many people in the Brigg area.
Lincolnshire's
only racecourse is staging Armed Forces Family Race Day on Remembrance Sunday, 9
November.
There
is free admission for members of the armed services on production of their
ID.
As
well as horse racing which has attracted horses from all the major training
yards in Britain, there is also off-course entertainment for young and old
alike, including a child-friendly assault course, a military vehicle display,
Second World War memorabilia, a visit by military historian Andrew Robertshaw,
fancy dress competitions and face painting.
The
first race is off at 12.45pm, with the racecourse gates open two hours
before.

telephone on 0844 579 3009. Advance prices for 9 November, which are
discounted, are: County £17.10; Tattersalls £12.60; Family £6.75. Savings of up
to 25% on on-the-day admission are available on advance purchases. Accompanied
children aged under 18 are admitted free of charge.
