Brigg Blog was delighted to take up an invitation on November 5 to visit a back garden firework display and bonfire at a house in Grammar School Road.
What a wonderful night it proved to be! Many families with young children, and some with older offspring, went along to enjoy a display which kept everyone royally entertained for more than an hour.
Hot food and piping hot soup was served from the kitchen and there was a real taste of community spirit.
A hard-working team of adults lined up and let off an array of rockets, Roman candles and air bombs, while the younger members of the audience enjoyed their sparklers.
The display concluded with two monster fireworks which provided a fitting finale to a memorable night.
