BRIGG FOOTBALLERS DRAW LOCAL DERBY

Briggensians Football Club - based in Brigg - was in action yesterday (Saturday, November 29) in the Johnsons Transport Ironstone Cup, organised by the TSW Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League.
In Group A (Week 4) of the competition, our town team drew 1-1 at Barnetby United Reserves. 
Neil Gallafent scored for Briggensians, with Eddie Holton on the mark for the villagers.
On Saturday 6th December, Briggensians return to division three action, visiting Santon.
Briggensians have won all three league games played so far, while Santon have lost their five fixtures.
