SPADEWORK FOR BRIGG ALLOTMENTS IS DONE INDOORS

The sets of Brigg allotments, off Atherton Way/Redcombe Lane and Grammar School Road, are managed by Brigg Town Council from its base in the Angel Suite. There's high demand for plots - rented annually from the authority.
The smooth-running is overseen by the Brigg Town Council Property and Services Committee which makes decisions, as required, and receives periodic reports on how things are progressing. Tenants' representatives sometimes attend such meetings or send written reports. Town Council staff and elected members also undertake look-see visits.
We mention this because there's a meeting of the Property and Services Committee coming up on Wednesday, March 6 in the Angel Suite Lounge (downstairs) at 7pm. This is open to interested members of the public.
This meeting will also receive a update on the Angel Suite - another facility managed by the Town Council - and there will be a review of the town centre Christmas Lights 2012 and confirmation of the switch-on arrangements for later this year.
