BRIGG PUBLIC FOOTPATHS IN GOOD ORDER

The long-serving Brigg Footpath Warden, Tony Parker, was unable to make it to the Annual Town Meeting to deliver his yearly report, so he submitted a written one.
The status of Market Lane remains unresolved within North Lincolnshire Council, but Tony was able to report that public footpaths in Brigg remain in good order.
Our picture shows Tony helping out on a previous Brigg Spring Clean beside the Old River Ancholme.

Tony Parker does an excellent job.

But we also need a similar person to be the warden of Brigg's town centre's fabric....to, for example, report damage, broken/wobbly slabs of york stone, peeling paintwork. broken council signage and etc.....to keep a record of when it was reported; to pester the council for its repair; to record the date when such items were repaired/rectified and to keep the community informed of such information, or the reasons given for delays.......and then, perhaps, the council will not be so complacent and sluggish in seeing that such concerns are rectified.
