SLIDESHOW ABOUT BRIGG COMING UP FOR BASH FANS

There has been a change to the next event staged by Brigg Amateur Social Historians.
When BASH meets on Tuesday,  April 2 there will be a slideshow about Brigg by Josie Webb and Pat Parkinson. This replaces the originally advertised talk on Elvington Air Museum which has had to be postponed.
All will be welcome at Brigg Servicemen's Club  - adjoining the town centre car park - on April 2 (8pm).
Asleep in the Deep was the title of the very interesting illustrated talk by Diane Brian for the BASH monthly meeting at the Brigg and District Servicemen’s Club on  March 5. Diane's great grandfather, John Bennett, formed a shipping company. He bought land he developed as building plots and several farms before forming his company.
Brigg Blog's thanks go to Pat Parkinson for the information and to Phil Allen for the picture.
