WANT TO BECOME A COUNCILLOR?
The existing vacancy on Brigg Town Council can now be filled by co-option. If you would like to become a Town Councillor, please apply in writing with a brief pen picture outlining the reasons for your application. Closing date for applications - 5pm, Thursday 18th November 2010. Applications will be considered at the meeting on Monday, 22nd November. They should be forwarded to the Town Council Office, Exchange Place, off Market Place, Brigg. Email: enquiries@briggmarkettown.co.uk

Brigg TC may not be appreciated by some folk, but councillors have to work hard and display commitment.
It is a sorry state that very few people exercise their right and attend council meetings.
If folks took an interest then they might start to appreciate what BTC and councillors do for Brigg.
Councillors take on many initiatives themselves, but with more community-orientated spirit, much more could be achieved.
Instead of insular moaning, 'What does Brigg offer?' proactively, ask oneself, 'What can I offer Brigg (and district)?'
