It's been suggested the new system of registering on what older Brigg folk might call the council house list requires information to accessed online. And not everyone, of course, is computer-literate.
Town Coun Ben Nobbs made reference to this at the town council’s monthly meeting, but said he was confident staff at Brigg Library and the local Link Office would “help out” if anyone required assistance.

Market lane Brigg is a public the common law ruling is "One A highway always a Highway" hence Once a public highway always a public highway The only way this highway could be "stopped up Is by 2 magistrates sitting in court It cannot be stopped up by " planning permission" it can never be stopped when it has been illegally gated without a "lawfull event" It is the statutory duty of the 'Highway Authority' to protect the public use and enjoyment and remove the Gates. It is absurd to claim it is a mere right of way That is a negligent misstatement and the gates, signs etc being there for years are a failure of the Authority North Lincolnshire Council To carry out its statutory duty
