Well-known local band The Dirty Pitchers are to perform a Christmas special gig in Brigg.
There will be free admission and an open invitation to attend when the boys host a festive sing-along at the Dying Gladiator's Stables Bar, off Bigby Street, on Saturday, December 21 (from 7pm).
Band members are telling locals: "Come out in your Christmas jumpers and sing along to a few Christmas tunes - and there may well be a few Britpop anthems thrown in, too."
Britpop legends Oasis famously covered Slade's Merry Christmas Everybody - so perhaps this will feature on the night.
The Dirty Pitchers have had a busy 2019, playing gigs across northern Lincolnshire.
They appeared at the Gladiator over the August bank holiday weekend and have also played Brigg Town Football Club's Hawthorns, the Exchange and the Servicemen's Club, plus venues in Barton and Scunthorpe.
In early September they performed at TV presenter Guy Martin's 'local' - the Marrowbone & Cleaver, Kirmington.
As a youngster living in the village, Guy was a pupil at Vale of Ancholme School, Brigg - now The Vale Academy.
