24-HOUR BRIGG CHARITY MARATHON NOW UNDER WAY

A continuous 24-hour charity fundraiser got under way in a Brigg bar at lunch-time today (Friday, December 6).
The Exchange Bar is raising funds for the Alzheimer's Society's Elf Day Appeal 2019.
A pool-playing marathon is now being played, plus a prize raffle and collection buckets.
Brigg Blog called in early this afternoon to take these pictures between frames.
Staff and customers are donning fancy dress in support of this worthy cause.
Pop in any time up to noon on Saturday and show your support.
If you can't make it until later in the evening or even Sunday, we are sure contributions to the collecting buckets will still be accepted.
There are pedestrian entrances to the Exchange from Bigby Street and Wrawby Street (through the brick archway and across the courtyard).
The Exchange was built in the 1760s but it's very unlikely that this historic grade two star listed building has seen attire quite like this being worn.
Three-piece suits and smoking jackets were the order of the day when it was still the Exchange gentlemen's club!
