If yours is one of the many Brigg properties that usually receive a Tuesday bin collection from North Lincolnshire Council, don't forget an important change to arrangements this week in the run up to Christmas.
Council collection crews will be calling instead on MONDAY (December 23) to empty burgundy bins (cardboard and plastic) but NOT brown garden waste bins.
Don't get caught out; put your burgundy bin out tonight or very early on Monday morning. With all those Christmas items coming up to be recycled, ensure your bin is empty on December 25.
Our next 'full' collection will be on MONDAY, December 30 (not Tuesday 31st) and will involve general waste wheelie bins, recycling boxes containing glass, cans and paper, plus textile bags.
If your household can't wait that long, take surplus items down to one of the local recycling centres, including those in the Tesco store, Old Courts Road and Ancholme Leisure Centre car parks.
