People from various age groups enjoyed the Brigg River Festival 2019, held on Saturday, May 25.
Ken Harrison, of Brigg Matters magazine, took these pictures from the River Ancholme and on dry land. We hope he didn't get his feet wet!
The festival, held on the same day as North Lincolnshire Council's May Farmers' Market, was based at the boathouse near Manley Gardens, off Bridge Street.
It was organised by Ancholme Rowing Club and Glanford & Scunthorpe Canoe Club.
Ken photographed some of the many volunteers who gave up their time to help with the organisation.
Between 10am and 3pm, visitors could try their hand at rowing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle-boarding and other types of sport. Refreshments were available from the boathouse.
Thanks are extended to Ken for sharing some of his pictures with us. Watch out for more in Brigg Matters.
Sunny weather being enjoyed by visitors to Brigg Farmers' Market on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Plenty of produce was on offer from the stalls. |

Hi Nige, the River Fest will appear in the Autumn issue...the bumper Summer issue has just gone to the printers....it's all to do with dead-lines.
