ELECTION 2019: BROUGHTON TOWN COUNCIL RESULT ANNOUNCED

The Waters Edge housing estate is within Broughton parish but only a stone's throw from Brigg - being close to the local authority border

Here's the result of the Broughton Town Council election held on Thursday, May 2, 2019.
Broughton parish includes Castlethorpe and the Waters Edge housing estate beside the New River Ancholme, close to the border with Brigg.
The count took place at The Pods, Scunthorpe, with 13 candidates vying for the nine seats available on the town authority.
Broughton's was the last of 15 parish/town results to be released around tea-time yesterday (Friday).
