BRIGG FUNDRAISING GROUP TOPS £16,000

A hard-working cancer charity group in Brigg has now raised well over £16,000.
The certificate seen above shows the gratitude of Pancreatic Cancer Action's national founder and chief executive for the work done by the support group in Brigg and contributions made by local people.
It is now four years since Lesley Whitehand, Zoe Hall and Andrew Markham started what Andrew calls "our little group."
They have asked Brigg Blog to pass on their thanks to local people for their generosity.
"Thanks are also due to Brigg Town Council, Brigg Inner Wheel and others who have helped us spread the word about this horrible illness," they add.

"Our thanks also go to the pubs and restaurants of the town for allowing us to collect on their premises.
"We will continue to hold awareness days in the area, and if anyone wants to help or ask for further information contact 07880 348449."
