FIRST PICTURE OF BRIGG TOWN COUNCIL SINCE THE 2019 ELECTION

This picture features all nine Brigg Town Council members who were voted in by the public at the election held on May 2, 2019.
They are seen in the Angel Suite after the authority's first meeting since the public poll.
With them are the Town Clerk and members of the local clergy who were in attendance at the AGM.
The number of councillors has been reduced from 19 to nine following a community governance review.
We think there had been 19 seats since the creation of Brigg Town Council in 1974 following local government reorganisation.
Left to right: Coun Penny Smith, Coun Jane Kitching, Coun Ann Eardley, Deputy Town Mayor Coun Brian Parker, Town Mayor Coun Sharon Riggall, Coun Nigel Sherwood, The Rev Trudy Hobson (Curate), Father Owain Mitchell (Vicar of Brigg), Coun Jane Gibbons, Coun Rob Waltham, Coun Carl Sherwood, Town Clerk Dinah Lilley.
