LATEST BRIGG CRIME FIGURES RELEASED BY POLICE


A rise in Brigg crime is reflected in latest figures from the police.
The total number of crimes reported in March 2019 was 55 - four more than in February.

All these crimes took place within a one-mile radius of the town centre, which takes in some areas of neighbouring parishes.
Sixteen crimes happened within the town centre, five others on the Newlands housing estate and five on the Springbank estate.
Compared with 55 crimes in March 2019, the same month in 2018 saw 54 incidents and there were 57 in March 2017.
So levels of reported crimes for March have stayed constant over the past three years - averaging less than two per day.
