The latest monthly crime figures for Brigg have been released by the police.
The statistics issued through www.police.uk show a small rise in the total number of crimes.
During the period under review (September 2018) there were 68 recorded in various categories - four more than during August.
That adds up to slightly more than two crimes, on average, each day.
The area covered by these stats is a one-mile radius of Brigg town centre, taking in parts of neighbouring parishes, notably the Waters Edge housing estate (in Broughton) and part of Scawby Brook.

Six incidents included in the 'all crimes' total were outside Brigg's boundary and in neighbouring parishes. So the actual town total for September was 62 offences recorded by the police.
