There's an opportunity for residents to talk to police officers face-to-face in Brigg tomorrow during Rural Crime Week.
Meet them in the Angel Courtyard on Thursday, July 20, from 10am to 2pm.
It is some years since Humberside Police discontinued the quarterly police panel public forums in the Angel Suite, usually attended by the inspector in charge of rural policing.
One question that might be put tomorrow is: Can these sessions be brought back?
We attended the vast majority, if not all, and found them useful and informative.
We now have a new Humberside Chief Constable and it is to be hoped that he takes a look at police panels serving areas like ours.
