£25,000 JACKPOT TO BE WON IN NEW LINCS LOTTO
FROM NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
Tickets go on sale from 11 July for the brand new weekly online lottery Lincs Lotto. Residents have a one in 50 chance of winning a prize, plus there’s a jackpot prize of £25,000. Tickets cost just £1 and are available to buy online at www.lincslotto.co.uk.
Fifty pence in every pound goes to your chosen charity – double the amount the National Lottery gives to good causes. Players can choose which good cause they want to support when they buy their tickets.
The draw takes place every Saturday at 8pm with the first draw taking end of September. To be in with a chance of winning, you must match the first or last two to six numbers in a row to win.
Winners will be notified by email. The winning numbers will also be published on the website, Facebook: www.facebook.com/Lincs-Lotto and Twitter: @LincsLotto, each week following the draw.
Last month, over 80 good causes attended an information evening at The Baths Hall to find out how they could sign-up to the new Lincs Lotto so they would receive money for their cause. If you represent a good cause e.g. local charity, community group, parish council or sports club and want to sign-up, visit www.lincslotto.co.uk.
Cllr John Davison, cabinet member for Business, Transformation and Finance at North Lincolnshire Council, said: “This is a great opportunity for local communities to benefit from the money raised through Lincs Lotto as 50 pence of every £1 goes to your chosen good cause. And it’s great for players as they are in with a chance of winning a prize, including the £25,000 jackpot.
“We believe we are the only council in the Humber region to set up our own Lottery scheme. It’s a great idea that enables money to be ploughed into local communities to benefit North Lincolnshire residents.”
