Former Brigg Town cricketer and Sir John Nelthorpe School student, Lee Fielden, has enjoyed a long association with Barnetby United Football Club.
Yesterday (Saturday, October 8) the villagers had a notable win in a leading knockout competition, and Leeroy has kindly sent us this action picture from the tie, together with a team line-up.
Barnetby beat Caythorpe 8-0 in the second round of the Lincolnshire FA Junior Cup.
On the mark were Will Hartley (3), Will Watson, Will Forest, Cameron Hill, Jimmy McPhee, Luke Cottam.
Looking down the list of scorers, it was clearly a case of where there's a WILL there's a way!
Barnetby United have two teams in the TSW Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League.
