There is an important date ahead for Brigg Town Cricket Club this week.
Founded in 1973, the club has been playing all home games at Brocklesby Park in recent seasons.
However, Brigg Recreation Ground is being refurbished and the issue of Brigg Town's home match venue for 2017 will be considered at the Lincolnshire County Cricket League's annual general meeting in Market Rasen on Wednesday evening.
The league's ground inspection team has been down to take a look at The Rec, where the new changing room block is nearing completion as part of North Lincolnshire Council's investment in the facility off Wrawby Road.
Some equipment for the ground has been acquired from another cricket club and funds are available for more to be bought from suppliers.
Brigg Town won the division four championship during a successful season which ended last month.
