Brigg Blog's thanks are extended to Lee Fielden for these action pictures from Barnetby United's 6-1 win away to Crosby Colts yesterday (Saturday, October 22) in the second round of the EC Surfacing Ltd Sporting Shield, organised by the TSW Printers Scunthorpe & District Football League.
"Cameron Hill's hat-trick in the first half took him to 100 career goals for Barnetby," the former Brigg Town Cricket Club captain tells us.
Barnetby will now face AC Blades in the quarter-finals at their Silver Street ground on November 26th.
Second-placed Briggensians FC - based at Sir John Nelthorpe School, Brigg - were without a game in division three yesterday.
Leaders Barnetby Reserves enjoyed a 4-2 home win over Crosby Colts Reserves.
On the mark for the villagers were Shaun Clark, Ryan Marshall, James Watson and Joe Wilkinson.
This Saturday, October 29, Briggensians are again without a fixture.
In division one, Barnetby United will entertain Brumby, while Barnetby Reserves travel to A.F.C. Queensway (both 3pm KO).
