It's interesting to note that the Bobbie are withdrawing their tradfic manafement support on Remembrance Sunday.
The obvious problem will be uncontrolled traffic around the Monument.....
So where will the service be undertaken....and how will the wreaths be laid?
The only alternative is the Market Place....but there will be a long march to lay the wreaths.
A totally new procedure will have to be devised....and only 3 weeks to go.....
Methinks there will have to be two separate aspects to RS...The Service and The Wreath Laying....the latter will not be an enviable task avoiding active traffic around the Monument.
New thinking is urgently required......with the aim of maintaining sobriety without endangering folk trying to cross the road to lay a wreath.
