FAMILIAR BRIGG INDICATORS THAT CHRISTMAS IS COMING

Familiar signs that Christmas is coming have appeared in Brigg.
Cycle selling Sherwood's shop, on Bridge Street, is advertising its Christmas Club which allows customers to spread the cost of presents for friends and family.
Meanwhile, through the temporary banner below, drivers travelling along the A18 are being informed that Santa's Attic Christmas Shop - stocking a very wide range of festive goods - is now open at Brian's DIY, on the corner of Wrawby Street and Grammar School Road South.
Regarding the approach of deep midwinter: On Monday afternoon this week we were walking along Bigby Street, in bright sunshine - temperature 60F+ - when we saw a council gritting lorry approaching. Fortunately, on the back was a sign explaining it was being used for driver instruction!
