SPORTY BRIGG BUSINESS WELL WORTH A LOOK

Brigg Blog was visiting the  Island Carr Industrial Estate, off Bridge Street, late on Tuesday afternoon when the proprietors of one of the small businesses invited us in for a look.
We were unaware of Wasp Sports at Unit 1, DN20 8PD - our fault, not theirs, and were very pleasantly surprised to see the range of goods and services on offer, which include:

• Hockey sticks, bags and balls
• Hockey shoes & protection
• Personalised workware
• Sports accessories
• Teamwear
• "And much more..."

Inside the premises we had a chat to Brigg couple Fiona and Mel Oades, Mel having served on our town council and  as a cricketer with the Hibaldstow club.
Fiona, director of Wasp Sports, showed us Brigg Town Cricket Club sponsored shirts carrying the name of Calvin Dow's Britannia Inn, on Wrawby Street. 
We wish the couple well with this venture and are pleased to help spread the word through Brigg Blog.
One job has been created so far and we gather that another could be on the cards, which is good news.
