REACHING A SWIFT CONCLUSION ABOUT BRIGG VISITORS

SATURDAY AFTERNOON: We think we've just seen our first swift of the year high in the sky over Brigg.
If this sighting is correct, May 14 marks an early return for the migrating birds.
Anyone else seen any in Brigg yet?
Midway down Grammar School Road is a popular location for swifts, together with East Parade/Central Square. You can sometimes see them over the town centre, too.
SUNDAY UPDATE: While exiting Old Courts Road this morning, we saw four swifts circling Grammar School Road, not far from Sir John Nelthorpe School and Glebe Road.
