Brigg Blog saw something in town today that we had't seen for a long time - someone from a business busy sweeping the path outside the premises.
A very thorough job was being done, too, in Queen Street.
Businesses are not required to sweep the paths - tidying up being the province of North Lincolnshire Council. But additional input is very welcome.
Our trip to this part of town today prompts another call to the council to consider painting a few lines to create parking bays in the very useful lay-by on Bigby Street - opposite the old Post Office.
A driver this morning had parked his/her vehicle halfway along the lay-by, effectively taking up three spaces because no-one could get infront or behind.
This is perfectly legal but could be avoided if we had three bays marked out.
The cost would be minimal and it should't prove a time-consuming task.
