STEAMED UP ALREADY
Preserved steam loco Oliver Cromwell - due to come through Brigg station at the head of a special train at 4.51pm today - set off from London as planned and the latest information we have is the excursion is running to time.
It will be very interesting to see how many people turn out in Brigg to watch this steam age survivor afford us a whiff of nostalgia. We've had a couple of phone messages about it already today - hence this update. We gather the Scunthorpe Telegraph is hoping to send a reporter to join us, so don't forget your anorak!
