A well-known Brigg firm has carried out a Flood Risk Assessment on 54 Bridge Street, and submitted it to North Lincolnshire Council, together with a request for permission to change its use from offices to a dwelling.
Grimley Smith Associates (GSA) have made the application. This building was once their base in the town, before they moved out to Scunthorpe and then returned to Brigg, in the Market Place.
The firm describes it a 17th century terraced cottage in residential use until relatively recently. No 54 is described as being 'no longer a viable office space'.
Brigg Town Council has raised no objections to the change of use, but North Lincolnshire planners will make the final decision.
