There are plenty of live music shows coming up in Brigg to begin November 2019.
The Moonshiners - Street Entertainers will be providing the music at Brigg & District Servicemen's Club, Coney Court, on Saturday, November 2, from 8.30pm. Their play list includes songs made famous by The Everly Brothers, The Beatles and Elvis. Free admission.
The Common Faults - an indie rock and covers band - will be on stage at the Woolpack, Market Place, from 9pm. Free admission.
Poor Nameless Boy, who has toured in Canada and Europe, will be performing at the Steel Rooms, Spring's Parade, on Saturday, November 2 as part of a music night. Tickets cost £15, which includes food. Visit the venue on the corner of the Market Place to book or call 01652 657256. Doors open at 7pm with food served at 7.15pm.
Singer Rachel Jones will be performing hits from the last six decades at the Lord Nelson, Market Place, on Saturday night.
There's a Halloween karaoke at the Jolly Miller, Brigg Road, Wrawby, on Saturday evening from 8pm.
A jumble sale in aid of World Challenge Nepal 2020 will take place at Brigg Servicemen's Club on Saturday (November 2) from 11am to 1.30pm. Pop along and take a look. We gather that three students from Sir John Nelthorpe School, Brigg, are funding-raising for trips they are keen to make to Nepal next July to work with the local community. Elizabeth Bennett tells us that Saturday's event will feature a variety of stalls selling books Christmas items, clothing, bric-a-brac, cakes and toys. It will be held between 11am and 1:30pm in the concert room at the Coney Court premises.
There's also a Lets Brew This coffee morning in aid of the Macmillan cancer support charity coming up at Brigg Youth Centre, Grammar School Road, on Saturday (November 2) from 10am to noon, with free admission.
