BRIGG SERVICE STATION CHANGES APPROVED

Planned changes have been approved at one of the petrol stations in Brigg.
North Lincolnshire Council has now granted planning permission to the Motor Fuel Group to raise the height of the canopy at Brigg Service Station, on Bridge Street, by 1.1 metres.
A detailed North Lincolnshire Council report on the application concluded: "The raising of the height of the canopy is not considered to result in an alien or discordant feature in the street scene when viewed from Bridge Street."

Meanwhile, approval is being sought to make alterations to a shop on Brigg's Springbank housing estate.
Advertisement consent has been applied for to replace existing signs with new ones at 10-12 Atkinson Avenue.
This application is now under consideration by North Lincolnshire Council.
A meeting of Brigg Town Council's Planning & Environment Committee is to be held tomorrow (Monday, November 25) in the Angel Suite, from 6.45pm. It is open to interested members of the public.
