PANTO STAR ANNIE FANNY CONFIRMED FOR BRIGG CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH-ON

Brigg Town Council has confirmed that popular family entertainer Annie Fanny will be attending the 2019 Christmas lights switch-on ceremony.
The star of annual Scunthorpe pantomimes for many years, Annie Fanny will be coming to our town on Friday, November 29.
Annie (played by Darren Johnson) will be joining other guests at the traditional late afternoon Town Mayor's soiree in the Angel Suite before taking to the stage in the Market Place for the switch-on at 5pm, with the usual 5-4-3-2-1 countdown and full crowd participation.
Annie Fanny will be entertaining children, mums and dads either side of the ceremony, following which a variety of musical entertainment will follow well into the evening.
Brigg District Lions are again overseeing the festive fair in the town centre and we gather that all available stalls have now been booked.
Many shops will be staying open until 9pm for Christmas gift shopping.
All plans now being in place for one of Brigg's biggest spectator events of the year, it's fingers crossed for decent weather on the night!

Annie Fanny will be starring in the annual Christmas pantomime at the Baths Hall, Scunthorpe. Almost 15,000 tickets have already been sold for Aladdin.
Shows start on Wednesday, December 11 and run until New Year’s Eve.
