FUNDRAISING SUPPORT FOR BRIGG ARCHES PROJECT TO HELP SHOPPERS, VISITORS & TOURISTS

 FROM GRAHAM WEST

Adopted by Brigg Town Council and supported by Brigg Town Business Partnership, the long-awaited Arches Project is well on its way to becoming a reality.
The plan is for a total of nine arches to signpost the accesses to Wrawby Street leading off from the Old Courts Road car park area.
Each arch will feature the name of the yard (for example Coney Court) and sport an appropriate logo.
To help fund the project cost of £24,000, a fundraising dinner is being held at the CafĂ© Courtyard on July 7th at 7pm.

This special fun-filled evening will include dinner, dessert, a bar and entertainment by the fabulous Nukeleles Ukulele Band.
Tickets cost £15 per person. Numbers are limited, though, and tickets are available on a first come, first served basis!

N.F. ADDS: This event was announced by Coun Rob Waltham during the recent annual meeting of Brigg Town Council, when he gave a brief update about the Arches Project.  With a lengthy agenda to get through, time did not permit him to give more than brief details of the fundraiser. So our thanks go to Graham for supplying the above.
